AGIBOT used its Innovation Day in Shanghai on October 29, 2026 to propose “Worken”, a measure of how much productive work robots do autonomously, Robotics & Automation News reported. The formula is active robots × autonomous working hours × output efficiency ratio. It appears in a 2026 embodied-intelligence industry report compiled by China Economic Information Service and the Shanghai Industrial Innovation Center of CAICT. It is a proposal, not an industry standard.
Why it matters: shipment counts say nothing about whether robots do useful work once delivered. A work-hours measure would, if companies published the inputs.
Key Facts
- Worken = active robots × autonomous working hours × output efficiency ratio (proposal, Oct 29, 2026)
- GO-3 Preview: company-reported first places on RoboDojo and RoboColiseum, top overall on RoboTwin
- Link-U OS 1.0 donated to OpenAtom Foundation; full open source by end-2026
- AHA3: liquid-cooled IP67 joints, Wi-Fi 6 and 5G
What models did AGIBOT show?
GO-3 Preview, a foundation model built on what AGIBOT calls a World Reasoning Action Model framework. AGIBOT says it ranked first on RoboDojo task success, highest overall on RoboTwin and first on RoboColiseum. It also showed WITA-Omni 1.0, an interaction model combining vision, speech, dialogue, facial expression and movement, with full-duplex conversation and on-device deployment. The benchmark results are the company’s.
What about hardware and software?
AHA3, AGIBOT’s third-generation humanoid architecture, adds liquid-cooled joints rated IP67 and Wi-Fi 6 and 5G connectivity. Link-U OS 1.0, an operating system for embodied robots, is in trials with partners, has been donated to the OpenAtom Foundation and is due to be fully open-sourced by the end of 2026. The G2 Max industrial robot has 21 degrees of freedom and a 40 kg two-arm payload. AGIBOT says its ecosystem spans 255 universities, 511 companies and more than 80,000 developers.
AGIBOT passed 20,000 robots produced in September. For how its models compare, see robot foundation models compared.
