GXO Logistics will deploy Agility Robotics’ Digit humanoid at two more US sites, in Statesville, North Carolina and Lebanon, Tennessee, for e-commerce fulfilment, the companies announced on October 26, 2026. Deployments start in early 2027 with Digit 4 and move to Digit 5 once it is commercially available.
Why it matters: most humanoid deployments are still single-site pilots. GXO has run Digit since a 2023 proof of concept and signed what both companies call the first humanoid robots-as-a-service agreement in June 2024. Adding sites is the next test of that model.
