Maxinsights, a Santa Clara company that collects first-person video for training robots, has raised a $30 million seed round led by Peak XV, with Tola Capital, South Park Commons, INCE Capital and Alumni Ventures, The Next Web reported on October 23, 2026. The company says more than 5,000 contractors in six countries wear its head, wrist and chest cameras while doing everyday tasks, and that it has captured more than 2 million hours, of which 1.5 million are model-ready.

Why it matters: model companies need far more human demonstration data than they can collect themselves. Maxinsights is one of the first to raise venture money purely as a supplier.
