Ondas Inc., based in West Palm Beach, Florida, acquired DZYNE Technologies LLC of Irvine, California for $875.8 million in cash and stock, announced July 13, 2026. DZYNE was founded in 2012.

Ondas expects DZYNE to generate $191 million of revenue in fiscal 2026 and more than $300 million in 2027, and now targets at least $525 million of total 2026 revenue.

The character of warfare is changing rapidly, and military advantage increasingly belongs to organizations capable of deploying autonomous systems at scale. — Eric Brock, chairman and CEO, Ondas

What comes with DZYNE

The portfolio includes ULTRA, a long-endurance autonomous aircraft with tens of thousands of flight hours; IonStrike, a kinetic counter-UAS interceptor built specifically against the Iranian-designed Shahed-136 class; and the handheld Dronebuster. Also included are the Blitz Group 1 UAS, with a 150 km range and swarm capability, and Grasshopper, an autonomous cargo glider carrying up to 226.7 kg.

A new division, Ondas Sentinel, unifies World View and DZYNE. Ryan Hartman, CEO of World View, becomes Sentinel CEO; Matt McCue, DZYNE co-founder and CEO, becomes Sentinel CTO. Ondas closed a 46-million-share underwritten offering last year raising about $217 million.

Why it matters

Counter-UAS is the fastest-maturing autonomy market because the threat it addresses is already deployed at scale and cheap. IonStrike being specified against a named airframe class rather than a generic threat model tells you how specific procurement has become.

For the wider physical AI field, deals like this are where the revenue is. A robotics acquisition backed by $191 million of near-term revenue is a different asset class from a humanoid round backed by pilots, and the capital is noticing.
